Description
The Kia Spectra oxygen sensor is installed in the exhaust system and performs a simple task of measuring the amount of oxygen present in the exhaust stream. It generates a small voltage signal dependent on the oxygen content and would then send this signal to the engine control system (ECM) where it will be analyzed if the exhaust gas is lean (an excess of oxygen corresponding to a low voltage) or rich ( a scarce of oxygen corresponding to a high voltage). The computer will determine the amount of fuel required to maintain proper fuel/air ratio. Because of the increasing need for accurate oxygen sensing capabilities, the Kia Spectra Bosch oxygen sensor created as the solution. With its Planar-type sensors that that takes a form of a thin and flat, like a geometric “plane”, unlike those thimble shaped sensors, that lights-off faster at about 10 seconds better than the traditional type sensors.. Its compact and flat shape provides a more tough seal against the elements of vibration. It is also made to perform at its best even under extreme temperature changes. The Kia Spectra is the right choice to achieve a clean burning engine in order to gain from its peak power. Through rigorous testing and high manufacturing standards, this oxygen sensor is subjected to bring out the best out of your engine. The next time you need superb oxygen sensor replacement, get only the Kia Spectra K&N Bosch oxygen sensor here!
