Description
The Mazda B2600 Bendix brake shoes are made to be better than any other alternatives available in the market. Thru rigorous testing procedures, it has shown to last longer and its riveted shoe provides high temperature braking performance. Both its shoe and lining are made to OE specifications and is guaranteed to be reliable throughout its lifespan. The Mazda B2600 Bendix brake shoes features its electro hardened journal ends to reduce wear and its indent or fold allows more strength between shoe platform to prevent flexing and stretching. Like the disk pads, the brake shoes consist of a friction material or lining bonded to it. As you engage the brakes, the brake fluid is forced under pressure through the wheel cylinder. This in turn presses the brake shoes against the machined surface within the drum. Over time, a worn out lining will cause the shoes to travel greater distance just to reach the drum. Eventually, as the distance reached its limit, a self adjusting mechanism is automatically activated to adjust the brake shoe’s rest position so that they are closer to the drum. But since constant pressure is applied to the brake shoes, their linings gradually wear out over time and must be replaced. If the linings are permitted to wear out through the metal shoe, this will cause serious damage to the brake drums. That is why if earlier signs of brake shoe wear are caught, have it replaced at once with the Mazda B2600 Bendix brake shoes.
