What are car mirrors for? Are they merely for added style? It could be but not exactly. A car mirror is installed on the car not only for purposes of enhancing its style but for safety and protection against possible bumping with other vehicles moving on the same highway the car is driving in. A clear vision is a must in driving but the clarity of the driver's eyes may not be enough to have a view of all the sides and areas. The view on the back is as important as the view in front but the driver cannot turn his back just to see what's behind him since even in a split second something untoward may happen. Someone may cross the street while his head is turned at the back and bang! An innocent being can be put to death.
With the limited ability of the eyes while driving, auto mirrors are installed as aid to have wider and clearer view of the areas that the eyes cannot see. Most cars have rearview outside mirrors installed on the left side of the driver's seat and an inside mirror for the passengers. Other auto makes have added mirrors on the right side of the passenger's seat for added visibility. The rearview mirror on the driver's side can give the reflection of other cars on the back to aid the driver in using the proper speed, handling and driving dynamics. A mirror however must be properly adjusted to get the right view or reflection.
Car mirrors can also be used as a restyling component to modify the look of the vehicle. For a sporty aggressive look, Volvo mirrors can be chosen. Styles and design are varied to suit the different stance of vehicles lined up under Volvo. Other auto types can also install Volvo mirrors provided that it will go with the configurations and dimensions of the area the mirror will be placed.
