Toyota 4Runner

The Toyota 4Runner was introduced in the automotive market in the year 1984.
It was a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) that is mainly sold up to the present in
North America althoug it is entirely built at Toyota’s Tahara plant in Japan;
outside the US continent, the 4Runner is being sold under the name of Toyota Hilux
Surf. Originally, Toyota 4Runner is a lttle more than a typical Toyota light ickup
truck; it has a fiberglass shell over bed. The 4Runner though has undergone several
and significant development and redesigns until it was built as a mid/large SUV.
For the 2003 model, the 4Runner was again redesigned making a V8 engine available
for the vehicle; the 4Runner also became a truck-based model that is larger, roomier
and more fuel-efficient without sacrificing offroad capability. In the 2005 model,
the Toyota 4Runner’s V8 engine rated 270 horsepower and the V6 engine-carrier
models became available with a five-speed automatic transmission instead of the
old four-speed. The latest 4Runner also received additional standard and optional
equipments for safety and comforts; a Vehicle Stability Control electronic stability
system, Downhill Assist Control and the Hill-start Assist Control are available.
