Drifting behind the tough terrains and rugged roads of off-road trekking requires full capability of enduring the obstacles that lie through. This fact fortifies the desire of auto makers to supplement their machines with all the necessary devices that would help the vehicle work without much complaint. And through the use of improved modern technology, they are more confident that they can actually build their best creations. Among the current models of sport utility vehicles, Suzuki Vitara stands out. It is staging off-road technology that Hyundai Santa Fe, Ford Escape, Mazda Tribute and Toyota Rav4 lacks.
Vitara came to be Suzuki’s best 4X4 ever. It gives out power found in a V6 engine and attitudes expected of an innovative work. Suzuki Vitara spawned three trims that actually perpetuated the American market. All of them boosted with long list of standard features and luxurious options in a value that a pocket won’t get tore. The short-wheelbase 3-door convertible can run with either 1.6-liter SOHC or 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine, while 2.0-liter DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder engine for the 5-door hardtop. But the upscale 5-door Grand Vitara got a 2.5-liter V6 engine to power its operation. The Vitaras come in two-wheel and four-wheel drives, and can kick the butts of their rivals by the work of standard 5-speed manual transmission or 4-speed automatic transaxle.
For five years, Suzuki Vitara ran in the auto market with several trims. After which, Suzuki once again settled in producing the Vitara in only one trim, the LX. It’s now a four-door two- or four-wheel drive machine that kicks with a V6 engine and 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission system. Suzuki Vitara was packed within a new truck-tough body on-frame construction, a tough truck behind the mask of a mini SUV that offers a whole lot of auto features.
