When the components composing an automobile reached their limit, they tend to wear down or deteriorate. One effect of worn out components is the production of irritating sounds such as squeaks, rattles, clunks and even drones, and most of these noises are coming through the vehicle’s body panels. However, you really don’t have to tolerate such noises but you can actually lessen or dampen them - use sound deadening materials or simply known as sound deadeners like the Suzuki sound deadeners.
But why do you really need to sound deaden your vehicle? You ought to sound your car not just to decrease road, engine, and exhaust noises but also to experience a less stressful and/or fatiguing drive; to decrease rattles and vibrations; to increase the resale value of your vehicle; to increase SPL or how loud your stereo plays; to increase dynamic range of your stereo system; and to decrease resonance and coloration from speakers. These things are being offered by quality sound deadeners.
To experience such things, you may apply sound deadening materials to the sheet metal. If this won’t work, you can visit your nearest qualified auto shops and let them apply sound dampers that are usually a spray-on or brush-on products, and sound barriers which are typically sound deadening mats placed to the floorpan or under the carpet, to the roof or above the headliner, to the side panels or under any trim pieces, inside the doors, in front of the footwells and even behind the seats. Also, you can put sound deadeners underside of the hood and trunk.
