The Suzuki Motor Corporation is just among the manufacturing companies who have hailed from Japan. Suzuki has been known for producing a range of small automobiles especially the Keicars which are small passenger cars as well as trucks and are mainly sold in Japan; a full range of two-wheeled vehicles powered by an engine called motorcycles; outboard motors which are used as a propulsion system for boats; and a variety of other small combustion-powered engine products.
The said company started out as the Suzuki Loom Works in the late 1900s but it was only in 1952 when it first created the motorized bicycle called Power Free. In 1954, the said company changed its name from Suzuki Loom Works to Suzuki Motor Corporation and a year after, it came to introduce its first mass-produced car named the Suzulight. Since then, different Suzuki car models came after the other. Suzuki Motor Corporation is on its way to the top.
The Suzuki Aerio is just one of its automobile models. Aerios are also called as the Liana in the European countries. Aerios are designed for the lower midsize segment of the Japanese and European markets and for the subcompact segment of the North American market. The Suzuki Aerio was introduced in 2001 as a successor for the defunct Suzuki Cultus, as a tall 5-door hatchback or 4-door sedan for obvious reason – optimum inner room efficiency. Aerios feature two different 16-valve gasoline engines with 1.5 liters and 1.8 liters, and are capable of generating around 125 horsepower JIS. Furthermore, Aerios are equipped with standard automatic transmission with an option of all-wheel drive.
