Did you know that ac compressor is one of the most costly components of an auto air conditioning system? A good quality replacement Suzuki ac compressor actually runs several hundred dollars. Knowing its price as well as functional values, a wise owner would see to it that he brings his travel body to auto air conditioning system expert, whenever irregularity with the operation and decline of performance quality is noticed. Since, there are times where the system acquires more damages instead, because of inadequate knowledge about the crop.

An ac compressor is a device that’s responsible of compressing and transferring the liquid refrigerant around in a pipe. It’s an electric or fuel powered pump or drive designed to increase or decrease the mass of gas in an enclosed area, so to make its pressure higher or lower than that of the outside air. It forces the liquid from the evaporator to transfer into a condenser and expansion valve, and then back to the evaporator by pumping. In the process, the ac compressor takes the low pressure refrigerant from the evaporator and compresses it according to the air temperature and engine speed. By the use of a belt that directly connects it to the engine, so as with the refrigerant, the compressor is able to complete its job.

Ac compressors feature two sides, the inlet side or low pressure side and the outlet side also known as the high pressure side. They come in three types, the two-cylinder reciprocating piston, four-cylinder RADIAL and six-cylinder AXIAL. Each of them typically feature blower housing and motor, compressor clutch and pulley, high and low pressure lines, receiver-dryer. They also have condenser, defroster vent, evaporator, expansion valve, heater core, and receiver-dryer.

Although Suzuki ac compressors and other compressor parts are readily available in auto part stores, it is still best to give them proper care so that you also spare yourself from added maintenance cost. How then can you do it? One of the most effective tactics is by installing ac compressor filter. It’s an auto ac product which protects compressor failure by catching, trapping and holding debris and other contaminants that might clog the pipe and vents.
