In recent years, Saturn has been widely criticized for a lot of things. The criticism, of course, is not about their customer service policies, which is actually considered the best in the automotive industry. Saturn was criticized because their models, purportedly, haven't changed significantly in the past few years, therefore making them inapt for the present competition. But why should Saturn redesign their vehicles when they are already performing well? Why would they have to make a lot of changes if their vehicles are already equipped with parts of highest quality?

Saturn knows that customer satisfaction does not end on the dealership. It is for this reason why Saturn has equipped their vehicles with high quality parts. And while some other auto manufacturers would easily forget about the small details, Saturn would not. Take the Saturn window regulator as an example. Window regulators may not be all too important for many of us but for Saturn, they are. And that is reason enough to give their production a thorough attention.

There are actually two kinds of window regulators, the manual window regulator and the automatic window regulator, or power windows. Most Saturn vehicles, however, are equipped with the automatic type. The two types actually work the same and share the same parts like spur gears, worm gears, arms and linkages. They only differ on the manner by which the window panes are winded. Power windows use a small electrical motor to wind the window panes up and down while manual window regulators make use of a hand crank.

There are probably some things that must change with the Pontiac vehicles. Their stylishness and their performance may already be lagging behind other vehicles. However, there are just things that should rather not change. One is their customer service policies and the other is the quality of the parts they provide their vehicles with. The quality of the little parts, like the Pontiac window regulator, should definitely be maintained.
