Saab 9000
Designed to be a long running model from Saab make, the Saab 9000 was introduced into the public in 1985 as 1986 model year. This has been the first major step that Saab made to enter the large car market. With an exceptionally ingenious mind of an Italian, Giorgetto Giugiaro, the Saab model was designed and bringing forth the completed concept into the joint venture of Saab with Fiat, Alfa Romeo, and Lancia, the end result of the conceptualization was carried over to the factory to complete the project.
The idea was indeed a sensible and a clever creation because all four models can actually share one or more parts that can be exchanged as these respective parts can be fitted into one model and onto another. The same with other three models, Saab 9000 is a large car and and is visibly evident with the interior space with seats that can accommodate five persons comfortably with luggage space.
This model was touted as one of the most generous cars because aside from its spacious interior, its fundamental interior and exterior design along with the radical technology features, Saab 9000 conveys aura that will make driver and occupants feel at home in every drive they make with this car. This is the result of Saab’s declaration of commitment to make people and consumers the focal point of every Saab automobile’s theme. And this is clearly manifested into both Saab 9000 hatchback and saloon versions.
The Saab 9000i 16 and Saab 9000 Turbo 16 are the options given to the clients. These are developed with incorporations of the highest standards in areas such as comfort and convenience, engine performance, road handling, and safety features. And over the years, Saab 9000 cars received significant cosmetic transformation with each time bringing forth a change that would make these cars more enhanced to satisfy and even exceed consumer’s expected demand of quality for automobiles.
The last year for Saab 9000 series, which took effect in 1998, was the introduction of “The Classic” model. Although Saab 9000 ended its production, the initial arrangement that this would be a long-running Saab model is still in reality. Saab 9000 series is still running its presence in the automotive industry only carried through but this time, the cars are under the model name of Saab 9-5.
