There are basically two reasons why a person would
choose to purchase an SUV over any other kind of vehicle. The first
reason is off-road capability—SUV lovers are often adventurous and they
want a vehicle that they can bring with them in their off-road
adventures. Then there’s the vehicle’s cargo carrying capability.
Sport/utility vehicles are gifted with an enclosed cargo area. While
this area may be a lot smaller than that being offered by a pickup
truck, its advantage lies on the fact that the cargos are better
protected.
In the current line-up of Pontiac vehicles, there are two sport/utility
vehicles—the Pontiac Torrent and the Pontiac SV6. Both are capable
off-road vehicles and both offer a well protected cargo area. But while
the combination of off-road capability and cargo carrying efficiency
may sound well for every Pontiac SUV owner, it does not for the family
or household member who is assigned to regularly clean the vehicle’s
cargo area. Imagine loading a lot of cargos from the muddy off-road
track into the cargo area of your Pontiac. That simply means a very
dirty cargo area, and that would also mean more effort in cleaning the
area.
But you don’t have to clean the cargo area of your Pontiac after every
off-road ride you had with it. In fact, the cargo area doesn’t even
have to get dirty. And how can this be possible? By installing a
Pontiac cargo liner on your vehicle’s cargo area!
Cargo liners are waterproof coverings for the cargo area of vans,
minivans and SUVs. Like all other coverings for the floor area of your
Pontiac (i.e. floor mats, floor liners, etc.), the main function of the
Pontiac cargo liner is to protect the cargo area from various hazards
like mud, snow, water, sleet and even oil and battery acid. Cargo
liners are often made of plastic or rubber, although some cargo liner
manufacturers would make use of revolutionary materials like Xynet,
Vinyl plastic and 600 Denier Nylon. Common colors for cargo liners are
black, gray and tan.
