A company loved most for their small and compact vehicles, the Nissan Motor Corporation was never really known as a manufacturer of full-size vans and minivans. The Nissan Van was a 4-door minivan available only in rear-wheel drive configuration. The minivan was available in two trim levels: the base XE trim and the upscale GXE trim. Both trim levels are equipped with a standard 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine that is rated at 106 horsepower and outputs 137 lb-ft of torque. Standard transmission for the XE trim is a 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive. The GXE trim, on the other hand, is equipped with a 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, which, by the way, is also available for the XE trim as optional equipment.
