As a fifth generation of Nissan's Z-car line, the Nissan 350z, also known as the Nissan Fairlady Z version S was introduced in August 2002. This six-gear two-seater sports car is powered by a 3.5 L VQ35DE V6 engine is rated at 287 hp at 260 feet pound of torque to all its model and a 300 hp at 274 feet pound of torque for 35th Anniversary and 2005 Track Edition and can go from still-60 in just 5.4 seconds with a top speed of 156 mph or 251 km/h electronically limited.

The new Nissan 350z is offered in five trims: Base, Enthusiast, Performance, Touring, and Track Editions. Price range is from $26,800 for the base model to $36,200 for the top of the line Grand Touring. The 35th Anniversary Coupe is at $36,200. Nismo, Nissan's performance and motorsport division, offered a full line of performance parts for all Nissan 350z trims.

The latest Nissan 350z have Four-wheel ABS brake assist system, four disc brakes including four ventilated discs, electronic brake distribution, immobilizer, spacesaver steel rim internal spare wheel, and multi-link front and rear suspension independent with stabilizer bar and coil springs. Interior features include leather-appointed seats, Bose audio system to include six speakers, aluminum pedals, power heated seats and mirrors, remote control remote trunk/hatch release, air conditioning with climate control, front power windows with two one-touch, full dashboard console with covered storage box, full floor console with covered storage box, partial overhead console with covered storage box and a lot more.

The Nissan 350z can run in 26 mpg on highway and 20 mpg in city driving. It also has a multi-point injection fuel system that helps consume fuel better.
