Mitsubishi Expo
Mitsubishi Motor’s automotive tradition roots back to the year 1917 with the
introduction of the Mitsubishi Model A which was Japan’s first series-production
automobile. For the next two decades, Mitsubishi Motors has earned the respects
of the buying public as the company has proven itself as an excellent innovator.
The development of Japan’s first diesel engine in the very first diesel-powered
truck created such a memorable wave in the automobile industry.
For 1992, Mitsubishi Motors launched the twin “minivans” patterned from the sizes
of both the subcompact wagons and minivans. Mitsubishi Expo came as a seven-passenger wagon with swing-open side doors and a rear lift gate.
Powering up the drive for the Mitsubishi Expo was the 116-horsepower, 2.4- liter
4-cylinder engine. For 1993, Mitsubishi Expo vehicles achieved an additional 20
more horsepower adding up to the already effective one integrated into the vehicle
for the previous year.
Mitsubishi Expo 1994 model years gained a lot more safety and security packages
such as the driver-side airbags, the new 4-spoke steering wheel, driver’s adjustable
shoulder belt, and motorized belt arrangement for the front passenger. In its
final season year in 1995, Mitsubishi Expo remained unchanged.
Japanese technology adhered to by Mitsubishi Motors has given the public incredible
advances. Adding up to the contunually growing Japanese marque in the world of
automobiles is the excellence that is exuded by every Japanese-made car such as
the Mitsubishi Expo.
