Mercury Mountaineer
We need
vehicles; yes, we can't deny that fact. We need them not just for
transportation means but for other heavy tasks like transporting garden
materials, furniture, foods, large amount of groceries, towing, etc.
And most of us value vehicles with great deal of importance; but who
wouldn't if you have the most sophisticated vehicles that sport
uniqueness in appeals and performance. But, as we can't all have
vehicles as sophisticated as the others and maybe we have just that
with enough to exude quality and performance and a little
exquisiteness, doesn't really matter. As long as you have a vehicle
that is giving you the enough performance you expect from it. As
results of the many automotive buyers and enthusiasts craving for
different vehicles, automakers are creating vehicles for wide market
segments and in variety. The Mercury, a division of Ford for example,
which created models such as the Mercury Capri, Mercury Comet, Mercury Mountaineer, etc., is an automobile brand that has the ability to combine the simple principles
of reliability with entry-level luxury.
Ford founded Mercury in 1939, literally from scratch. But being some
name that has enough craftiness and innovation in store, it has
gradually gathered success; in 1950's, it had its heyday when the
formula of stretching and lowering those existing Ford platforms were
gladly accepted and embraced by auto enthusiasts. Since then, it had
been creating vehicles that its followers had loved. Among such models
is the Mountaineer; its a model form Mercury that is packed with many
features and comforts that clearly state of sophistication and luxury
found inside a typical Mercury vehicle; the Mercury being the one
providing vehicles for the semi-luxury market segment of Ford Motor
Company.
If you're to get the Mountaineer, you've got choices between a
rear-wheel drive or a permanently engaged all-wheel drive. An apt 5.0
Liter V8 engine is available paired with a 4-speed automatic
transmission between the 1997-2001 model years. It was redesigned in
2002; it received a wider stance and longer wheelbase as well as gained
independent rear suspension. In this model year, a standard V6 engine
is powering the vehicle with the V8 available as an option. A
five-speed automatic transmission is available for either the standard
or the optional engine. Among the Mountaineer's features includes
antilock four-wheel disc brakes, tilt/telescoping steering wheel,
rear-obstacle-warning system, power-adjustable pedals and driver seat
memory.
