It has been decades since Mazda entered the American market. Since then, Mazda
made several outstanding vehicles that define the compact vehicle market. Mazda
was established in 1931 and entered the United States market in 1972 with their
introduction of RX-2. It was then followed by different models with several trims
for the next few years. These include the Familia-based 1200 and R100 for the
compact, the Capella-based 616 and RX-2 for the midsize, and the 1800 for the
full-size.
All these vehicles made a good image in the American market Mazda became one
of the world leader in performance vehicles during the seventies. When the company
ventured with one of the top leading American automotive companies, the Ford Motor
Corporation, the eighties made a good decade for the company as it surpasses the
sales of Toyota Corolla with their Mazda 323 and 626 as during this time, no other
non-Toyota has ever made into the top list.
Today, Mazda is competing well in Japan market as well as in the United States,
With their best selling model, the Mazda Miata and the RX-8 both on the sports
car class, Mazda continuously impress the automotive world with good designs.
And speaking of good designs, Mazda’s elegantly styled vehicles such as the two
earlier mentioned vehicles are set to give the definition of compact sports car
to the American market. With these latest models, the company is magnified for
their designs and extremely impressive parts that complete any Mazda. These include
body panel, header panel, and nose panel among others. Though all three are very
important to the Mazda, the nose panel defines the front end of the vehicles.
This sheatmetal component is welded together with the hood, doors, trunk, rear,
side, floor and other panels. This made the Mazda image exemplified as the front
is redefined to its highest level.
