The human body is comprised of different organs to be able to function correctly
as a whole. Likewise, Mazda vehicles and all other kinds of vehicles always have
their own physical compositions which work hand in hand to be able to attain its
utmost and top-notch performance. Mazda vehicle lights may just look small but
their tasks are incomparable and cannot be simply ignored. Vehicle lights are
purposely installed in cars and trucks for the drivers and passengers’ safety.
Several kinds of lights come standard in a vehicle’s specification. They are the
headlights or headlamps, fog lights, taillights, brake lights, back up lights,
turn signal lights, and corner lights.
Headlights enable you to see the road ahead of you especially in cases of dark
spots during nighttime. Fog lights, on the other hand, help the headlights in
providing lighting purposes in cases of low visibility conditions. The taillights
make your car visible for the other cars behind you. Also, the backup lights warn
those behind you that you are moving backwards. The brake lights specifically
show the rest of the vehicles behind you that you are braking so they are warned
to slow down and prepare to brake as well. The turn signal lights allow you to
inform those behind you of your intention to switch lanes, overtake, or in which
direction will you be heading to.
Corner lights serve dual functions. Mazda corner lights or side marker lights as they are mostly known for are mounted in the front corners of a vehicle. Usually, corner lights are placed beside the headlights, on the side of the fender or the quarter panel, or simply integrated on the wrap-around
bumpers. Most people think that there is no need to install corner lights because
the vehicles or those passersby in front of you will automatically see your car’s
presence. But if safety will be a primary concern for you as a driver, then the
installation of corner lights will be a great idea.
