When Mazda Motor Corporation first saw the light of day, it still
had the name Toyo Cork Kogyo Co., Ltd. It was a company which
specialized in manufacturing machine tools. Soon, however, it moved to
manufacturing vehicles, and the vehicle called Mazda-Go was introduced.
The name called Mazda came about 64 years later. The first four-wheel
car was introduced, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Mazda has progressed dramatically
eversince. It has become pioneer to a lot of innovations unknown to the
automotive industry before. Mazda is the only producer of the Miller
cycle engine as well as the only remaining manufacturer of Wankel
engines. It has also spawned a lot of impressive models that have been
garnering praise and admiration even until this day and age.
The secret of Mazda’s success is the
craftsmanship and quality that the company incorporates into its
models. True enough, it is a company which dedicates most of its time
and energy in excellent engineering and ingenious designing. This
dedication has obviously born fruit, because Mazda vehicles, upon
production, has always turned out to be unmatched, one-in-a-million
vehicles that are unlike any other in the whole automotive industry.
Mazda fans the world over have loved the
“emotion in motion” essence of the MX-5. They fell into pursuit of a
genuine sports car with the RX-8. Youthful, athletic people got the
hang of riding the Mazda2. And while everyone agrees with everyone else
that Mazda3’s dynamic, powerful form tops all other similar vehicles in
its class, the “communicative and dynamic” concept for Mazda5 is able
to come to life in the car. With Mazda6, in turn, the distinctive look
of Mazda is realized. Other Mazda vehicles follow these superb models
suit with unique qualities that they can call their very own.
The principle behind Mazda’s desire to
produce genuine-quality vehicles is expressed in two identical words –
Zoom Zoom. The redundancy is important and should be taken seriously,
though, because these two words alone encompass everything that Mazda
has come to be for the past 85 years.
