The primary power source of your Lexus’ electrical system is the alternating-current generator, or the so-called Lexus alternator. It is the component of the charging system that generates electricity for the electrical devices in the vehicle. So it is very important to check if the belts on the Lexus alternator are not cracked or tightened inappropriately before replacing the alternator. A good, less expensive option for a brand new replacement unit is a rebuilt Lexus alternator.
