In an attempt to raise the standard of overall customer satisfaction, Nissan Motor Corporation created the Infiniti luxury brand of vehicles. Infiniti is the luxury vehicle brand for Nissan, as Acura is for Honda, and Lexus is for Toyota. And just like their Japanese counterparts, Infiniti vehicles are also rebadged and slightly modified versions of Nissan’s high end vehicles.

The Infiniti brand of luxury vehicles was introduced by Nissan Motor Corporation in the United States in 1989, and a year later, it was also introduced in Canada. Today, Infiniti is also sold in other American countries, among them is Mexico. In a few years or less than that, Infiniti luxury vehicles will also be marketed in Taiwan and Korea.

An Infiniti vehicle can be easily recognized through its model name. The model names of Infiniti vehicles consist of one or two letters attached to two numbers that are indicative of their engine capacity. The Infiniti G20, for example, is equipped with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine. The Infiniti G35, on the other hand, is equipped with a 3.5-liter gasoline engine.

The entire line up of Infiniti vehicles grow larger and larger. Today, Infiniti vehicles consist of three vehicle body types: sedans, coupes and SUVs. The sedans include the Q models, the M models, and the G models. Coupes come only in G model variations while the SUVs are identified as the QX and FX models.

So, what’s so important about Infiniti vehicles? First, they are Japanese, making them as durable, reliable and refined as other Japanese vehicles. But they are no ordinary Japanese vehicles, as they are designed to perform better and are equipped with more luxuries than the high end Nissan vehicle. They are also designed to match the performance and luxuriousness of the existing American and European luxury brands.

Another important thing about Infiniti vehicles is that they are equipped with high performance and high quality Infiniti parts—the main reason behind their vehicles’ outstanding performance and luxuriousness. So if you’re going to replace any Infiniti parts for your Infiniti vehicle, be sure that they can meet the specifications and match the quality of the original Infiniti parts.
