With company’s sincere dedication to its passion in manufacturing different vehicles, Honda Motor Co., Ltd has evolved and became the world’s largest engine-maker with roughly 14 million internal combustion engines a year. And not only that, Honda vehicles are among the most sought after and preferred automobiles by wannabe owners and second or third car buyers.
Honda vehicles are being reinforced by its automotive parts and accessories that enhances and your car’s performance and beauty with each of one of them performing specific functions and role whether for your car’s braking system, cooling system, electrical system, engine system, air conditioning heat system, body and exterior, exhaust system, fuel system, steering and suspension system, drive train and others.
The Honda radiator overflow tank is device included with the cooling system of your car. It is designed to serve as a storage container for the water in the radiator when it heats and expands. When the radiator water heats and expands, it is pushed out passed the radiator pressure cap and goes straight to the radiator overflow tanks. By the time the system cools down, the water stored in the tank is pulled back into the radiator by the vacuum created when the water requires a little space and allows the radiator to maintain a full load of water.
If after installing the radiator overflow tank into your car’s cooling system, and the tank remains full but the radiator seems to need water frequently then the problem might be in the bottle-to-radiator hose or the connection, or a small leak somewhere is present that weakens the vacuum to pull the water back. You can detect this problem by pressurizing the system and wait for the drips. Other causes of this problem are loose hose lamps, small pin holes in the radiator, or a bad water pump seal. Taking note of these things gives you an idea on how to deal with it if you encounter one.
