Ford has come a long way since it started in a small factory in Detroit. With
the reputation of the best selling vehicles at all time. And it is not only one
model that made them great, there are two: the Model T which is already given
in every corner of the world as the best selling model of all time and the F-series
has made its entry surpassing the both the Volkswagen Beetle and the Model T in
terms of sales and production. With these two models and all the other models
made by Ford Motors, the company has undoubtedly one of the best producers of
vehicles in the world. And with this title, Ford Motors engineered durable parts
that compliment the name it carries.
One of these is the Ford radiator. Considered as the heart of the cooling system,
the radiator keeps the vehicle’s temperature at normal level in running condition.
Located at the front of the engine, the radiator cools the engine with the help
of the air that passes through the opening at the front of the radiator which
is called the grille or some might say grill. When the air reaches the radiator,
it cools down the water that is inside the radiator. In the case of insufficient
air, the radiator fan is switched on to aid the air to keep the radiator in its
normal level.
But in the cases of neglect, the radiator could be damages. This might be caused
by poor maintenance, vibration, wrong connection, mechanical stress, and collision
damage. It is important to keep the radiator from these conditions by regularly
checking and cleaning the blockage off the radiator. By doing this, the radiator
can have a longer life.
