Once again, enthusiasts and critiques are preparing to collect enough
time as another object was added in their subjects for scrutiny as Ford
unveiled in the industry another collection for their sport utility
vehicles, the Ford Excursion. It was initially released in 2000 and at
first buying publics was vague with their reception of this new
addition to Ford automobiles collection.
When it came out to the public’s consumption different reactions were
generated criticizing Ford Excursion’s built and size.
It is not so surprising because this built is new in the automotive
industry. The public was not ready yet for the boldness and
aggressiveness Ford has taken to create this mammoth of a vehicle.

lineup from Ford would fare in the skeptical automotive industry,
negative reactions gradually faded into oblivion as they now are fully
prepared to accept Ford excursion sport utility vehicles as one
dependable vehicle in the years to come. Ford Excursion sport-utility

and reliability to transport passengers of up to 9 persons.
Built based on a super-duty pickup truck, this largest sport-utility
vehicle by Ford Motor Company was offered with a standard automatic
transmission with engines such as: 7.3 L (models of 2000-2003 only) V8,
235-250 horsepower (up to present models); 5.4 L V8 255 hp; 6.8 L V10,
310 hp (up to present models); and 6.0 Diesel V8, 325 horsepower (2003-
present models). Ford Excursion SUV’s are fully equipped for powerful
towing capabilities and feature class-leading cargo volume.
Initiated different consumer’s tastes, Ford Excursion models are
available in: Ford Excursion XLS, Ford Excursion XLT, Ford Excursion
Eddie Bauer, and Ford Excursion Limited. Colors were available in the
aggressive black shade, the sophisticated mineral gray and Arizona
beige, and the light-hued pueblo gold exterior and Arizona combination.
