Transformation is a hot issue that people are enticed to look forward to. In
every platform that’s being released by different car manufacturers, surprises
such as remarkable transformations are made as highlights that primarily catch
the attentions of customers. Dodge Stealth is among the units that once became
hot in the United States.
Originally, Dodge Stealth was the Mitsubishi GTO but was given the name Mitsubishi
3000GT in order to avoid confusion with other GTO names such as Ferrari GTO sports
car and Pontiac GTO muscle car. It wanyahahs a Japan built car under the flagship
of
Mitsubishi and sold as Dodge Stealth in the US.
Dodge Stealth came in several versions, the base, ES, R/T and R/T Twin Turbo.
The base was a version equipped with V6 engine that was coupled with either 5-speed
manual or 5-speed automatic transmission system. ES also had V6 so as R/T, but
the latter generated greater power than the two other V6s. The R/T Twin Turbo
was powered by turbocharged V6 and 6-speed Getrag manual transmission for the
last three years while 5-speed Getrag in the other three years with driver controllable
power/economy models, and had all-wheel drive in most of its years.
The sleek styling, well-defined curves and corners of the exterior were matched
with comfort and convenience. The unit has got standard air conditioner, tailgate
washer, power windows, door locks, speed control, security alarm, and remote keyless
entry. Stealth has also got front low-back front bucket seats which include recliners
and height adjustment. And for maximum comfortable feeling with the ride, safety
features were made available.
Among the Dodge Stealth trims, R/T Twin Turbo became the most popular all because
of the amenities and equipments included in its list, and of course bigger room
for passengers. Aside from what was already listed earlier, this trim was also
endowed
with twin intercoolers, all-wheel steering, and electronically controlled suspension
and dual mode active exhaust. And with its powertrain, R/T twin Turbo can generate
300 to 320-horsepower and torque of 306 to 315 lb-ft.
