Dodge Dynasty
The Dodge Dynasty is cousin to Chrysler’s New Yorker. It was first introduced
in 1988 and carried less equipment, a smaller price tag, and came in Base and
LE editions.
The Dodge Dynasty looks in a well conservative and upstanding vehicle. It exhibits
lots of straight lines and near-right angles, but without much concession to aerodynamic
trend. It looks like a bit old-fashioned but it has the traditional American value
that is written all over it. Inside the Dodge Dynasty won’t change any impression,
where the seats look comfortable and well designed though they don’t look flashier.
The Dynasty has nice conservative upholstery and colors, where its dash has a
full set of gauges. The door panel’s exhibits are squared off details like the
power window controls that are arranged in neat and orderly rows. The front seat
of the Dynasty is designed comfortably for two people, with much of built in support
and crushing fabric to hold you in place. It has a plenty of room for five or
six people and a load of luggage, though four will be a more comfortable one.
The Dynasty has a combination of 6-way power seat adjustment and tilt steering
wheel, and it is fairly easy to come up with a comfortable driving position. You’ll
find out then that the Dynasty is a wonderful highway cruiser, where the ride
is well-controlled and almost completely placid.
The Dynasty has V6 engines that are vastly superior to the 4-cylinder, but neither
qualifies as a speedster, but even with a 3.0-liter V6, acceleration in a Dynasty
is far from bustling, though certainly sufficient. Generally, Dynasty’s ride is
soft, comfortable and pleasing, but expect a lot of body lean and tire squeal
through anything more than those gentle turn. Although its chassis absorbs bumps
well, the suspension feels loose and bouncy at highway speeds.
Dodge Dynasty is a total luxury car that was richly appointed with comfortable
seats, a power in everything and that gives you a ride as smooth as glass. When
