Known as Daewoo's flagship sedan, Leganza silently made its way to the
crowded American market. The year it was unveiled, Daewoo Leganza
sported an exterior design that comes from the joint effort of the
in-house stylists and Giugiaro's famous ItalDesign operation. This

The Leganza is the largest and the most costly among the three
cars produced by Daewoo in 1999 model year. Originally, Daewoo Leganza
was offered in three basic trims – the SX, SE and the premium CDX. All
these Leganza models are motorized by a 2.2 liter four-cylinder engine.
The SX and the CDX received a four speed automatic transmission while
the SE trim is outfitted with a standard five speed manual gearbox.
