The Chrysler Corporation has been in the automotive business since 1885. Its
history traces back when a guy named Walter Percy Chrysler conceptualized and
formed the said company. Though Chrysler remained steadfast in all its endeavors
as an automobile manufacturer, it still came to a point of financial tailspin
that gave way to the merger of the same with the Daimler-Benz in 1998 to form
the DaimlerChrysler Corporation. Nevertheless, vehicle models that were made by
the Chrysler Corporation prefer to carry the name Chrysler instead of one of the
auxiliary companies.
Excluding 1970s models, Most Chrysler vehicles are known to be of relatively
expensive value, and are subjected to a higher tax rates as compared to non-luxury
cars. Chrysler vehicles are expected to showcase more comfort, edge in appearance,
and loads of amenities than sports vehicles, economy car, and utility vehicles
which showcase more of performance, economy, or utility. The Chrysler Cordoba
is just one of the several models that were built by the Chrysler Corporation.
The Chrysler Cordoba is classified as a luxurious automobile capable of exhibiting
optimum pleasure to its occupants especially the driver. Most Chrysler Cordoba,
if not all, can be seen running the roads of North America within the years of
1975 until 1983. Significant changes for the Chrysler Cordoba are: that the 1977
Cordoba model being a sophisticated one featured a powerful engine, additional
options and amenities, but came 1980 when the Cordoba was downsized having shorter
wheelbase and was extremely face-lifted but resulted nonetheless to its unfavorable
sales average. Because of this, Chrysler decided to cease its production by year
1983.
