Another from General Motors lineup of vehicles, the Chevrolet Colorado is a compact pickup truck which replaced the Chevrolet S10 and GMC Sonoma. Wonder why? The base engine is a 2.8-liter four-cylinder with 175 horsepower, and a 3.5-liter, inline five-cylinder with 220 horsepower. These two engines are aluminum and shares 75% of their content with the Vortec 4200. With this engine, you know that the Chevrolet Colorado has the capability of towing 4,000 pounds when equipped with the 3.73 rear axle ratio. The Colorado is really just perfect for folks who are likely to pull a small pop-up camper, watercraft or motorcycle trailer.
