Before there were Sport utility vehicles, before there were minivans, there was the station wagon. They provided a great deal of service for the community then. A station wagon was provided a full-size body to accommodate the whole family plus cargo. They have four passenger doors; the fifth door is in the rear for cargo entry, much like a hatchback. A then-new automatic transmission was also provided, making it one of the first Chevrolet station wagons to sport one. A variety of styles and models of the Chevrolet Brookwood came out as time progressed. There were even two doors Chevrolet Brookwood that were produced. Now, a good conditioned and restored Chevrolet Brookwood is considered a classic and many classic car enthusiasts would like to get their hands on one of them.
