be seen everywhere. Chevrolet has made a very memorable impact in the

Chevrolet vehicles were at its peak in their popularity in the fifties and the sixties, an era where large cars and powerful engines were the norm. In 1963 alone, three out of every ten cars sold was a Chevrolet. They had a lineup of large cars with even a larger engine that simply wowed the people. That lineup included the Chevrolet Del Ray, Chevrolet Bel Air, Chevrolet Impala, Chevrolet Caprice and then the Chevrolet Biscayne. The Chevrolet Biscayne was produced in 1958 and had a run of 14 years until 1972. The Chevrolet Biscayne provided an opportunity for everyone to own a large car with a big engine because in the lineup of those fantastic Chevrolet cars, the Chevrolet Biscayne was the most affordable. Originally, the Ford Biscayne was intended for fleets, but they were also released to the general public and met a great welcome. The Chevrolet Biscayne was offering a low-cost, no-frills people and cargo hauler with the convenience and room of a full-sized automobile. While in the early production and selling stage of the Chevrolet Biscayne, most units were sold with a V-6 engine. But in the next decade, almost all Chevrolet Biscayne cars were equipped with a bigger, stronger and better V8 engine. Hey were being paired with an automatic transmission and an all-new power steering unit. They were provided with such durability and longevity that there are some that still exists today.
