The step bumper is different from the standard bumper. All vehicles have bumper,
it is located at the front and the rear of the vehicle regardless whether it is

for larger vehicles like trucks and SUV. Some step bumpers are made from plastic
polymer. It has the same strength as the reinforced steel step bumpers and can
sustain the same pressure as the reinforced steel.
Step bumper also increases the towing capacity of the vehicle. With a reinforced
steel or durable plastic polymer, the vehicle can withstand the pressure of heavy
load at the same time upgrading the image of the vehicle that stands out from
other vehicles without step bumper.
