Chevrolet El Camino vehicles introduction to the industry made a stir because of its unique, awkward albeit exceptionally eye-catching style. Production of Chevrolet El Camino unveiled fourth generation and went productively in 1973-1977 and this time with a version of a lighter construction.

Even if healthy production in the previous generations had proved to be successful; the management of General Motors deemed it necessary to stop production of the line in 1987. Chevrolet El Camino vehicles survived the line with five generations of car-pickup truck evolution.
