Although the General Motors Corporation was able to house a number of
automobile brands such as the Chevrolet, Cadillac, GMC, Pontiac, Saturn
and several others, the Buick can also be considered as one of the
strongest General Motors automobile marques not just within this
corporation but in the whole automotive industry. Buick being a brand
under the largest automobile manufacturer in the world, excellent
vehicle quality and reliability can certainly be expected from it.
Buick primarily targets United States, Canada and China but sells it
products in North America, China, the CIS countries, and the Middle
East for its marketing area strategy. Buick was able to deliver some of
the most popular and sought after models in the automotive industry
such as the Buick Allure, Excelle, GL8, LaCrosse, Le Sabre, Rainier,
Rendezvous, Royaum, Terraza and Park Avenue.
The Buick Park Avenue is a full size luxury car marketed by the Genaral
Motors Corporation under the Buick marque. Basically, it is larger than
the mid-size cars and usually has a wheelbase greater than 2.79 meters
or 110 inches, and has an interior volume greater than 120 cubic feet
or 3300 liters.
The Buick Park Avenue is also included in the class of expensive cars
that serve as a target for special taxes as it exhibits an edge in
comfort, appearance, and amenities against performance, economy or
utility over sports cars, economy cars, and utility vehicles. The Buick
Park Avenue existed for almost a decade and a half starting year 1991,
but perceived to be discontinued in the year 2006 to give way for the
Buick Lucerne.
