BMW has always been the vehicle brand that represented German vehicle performance. From the small but capable X3 series to the powerful M models, every BMW vehicle is guaranteed to give you the drive of your life—a breath taking ride that takes you to the edge. But BMW is not all about performance, just as vehicle buyers would not always go for high-performance vehicles. When your main criteria for buying a vehicle is comfort, BMW won’t fail you as it is equally equipped with excellent features that make riding a vehicle even more pleasurable.

One component that makes BMW rides extra comfortable is the BMW A/C condenser. The A/C condenser is an integral part of your vehicle’s air conditioning system, it being the main component responsible for radiating the heat absorbed by the AC system’s refrigerant. As the refrigerant runs through the evaporator, it absorbs the heat inside the vehicle to make the over-all inside temperature lower. This hot refrigerant is then transferred to the condenser where the heat absorbed is radiated and the refrigerant is condensed into a cool liquid to be passed again to the evaporator.

To radiate heat effectively, the A/C condenser is not installed inside the vehicle. Rather, it is mounted near the grille ahead of the radiator. If you’ll take a look inside the vehicle’s hood, you’ll easily notice the condenser as the small radiator mounted near the grille. The air that comes into the grille, as well as the radiator fan, aids in the function of the A/C condenser. Aside from the radiator fan, an additional fan can also be installed to further cool the condenser, especially in front-wheel drive vehicles.

The BMW A/C condenser, and the BMW air conditioning system as a whole, is guaranteed to keep the interior of your vehicle cool especially during the warm and hot days of summer. It is also guaranteed to work at its best all the time. But malfunctions in the A/C condenser are inevitable, and if that happens, a repair or a replacement would badly be needed. You can find BMW A/C condensers from local sources, but if that gets difficult, yo0u can always count on the Net.
