Also, only the 3.0-liter V6 engine equipped varieties were sold in the U.S., rated at 183 hp and 200 hp from 1991 to 1993, and at 210 hp and 230 hp before its demise in 1995.

The greatest edge that the Alfa Romeo 164 had over its other European competitors was its price. The Alfa Romeo 164 was affordable then, and it should generally be more affordable now when purchased as a used car. And when equipped with the right Alfa Romeo 164 restoration and repair parts, the vehicle would generally perform as good as it did ten years ago.
