Flowmaster operates the only exhaust Research and Design facilities of its kind in the world and is centered on the Superflow SF-7100 engine dynamometer complete with engine cycle analysis equipment and the SuperFlow Chassis dyno. Through this dyno, the brand’s engineering staff can track the complete engine cycle in millionths of a second and can obtain exact technical data of each degree of cam rotation, from the induction to the tip of the exhaust system, while also showing the power numbers that really matter, the power numbers to the ground. The entire performance system is designed to exhibit less sound volume, less interior resonance, and less aggressive sound. Flowmaster equips the exhaust kit for the Avalanche, the Yukon, and the Suburban with a 3.00” outlet. It is applicable for both 2- and 4-wheel drive vehicles, and the kit is also perfect for autos carrying a 5.3L engine. It features a 70 series Big Block II muffler, a 3.50” logo-embossed stainless tip, a force II and a single pipe out of the side exit or SOS.
