Bilstein Shock Absorber
A vehicle component that is typically employed on vehicles that uses a standard suspension system is the shock absorber. This is found on the rear of front wheel drive vehicles with strut suspension in front. Usually called as shocks, it delivers resistance by forcing the hydraulic fluid or oil through valves in the pistons as it goes up and down. However, the oil cannot be compresses, which is why there is only particular amount of fluid that can be forced through the said valves. Thus, they produce resistance onto the movement of the vehicle specifically on road irregularities. Bilstein has made and designed a shock absorber for vehicles that is made from premium grade materials so to ensure optimum performance and efficiency. Bilstein shock absorber features a conventional design that traps heat within the shock body and preventing an adequate dissipation, since heat is one of the main detriments onto the performance and longevity of the shock absorber. Bilstein shock absorber is patented with a mono tube gas charged design, which allows excessive heat from the oil to be able to transfer onto the outer surface of the shock's body and dissipate more efficiently. The tube of this gas pressure shock absorber is made using a particular extrusion method. Such process achieves an extremely tight peak to valley tolerance and maintains a consistent wall thickness. The seamless tube of the mono tube design gives superior tube strength while at the same time maximizing the heat dissipation and shock life. The piston head design of the Bilstein shock absorber lets an independent tuning of the compression and rebound damping forces to be able to provide an optimum ride comfort and performance without compromise. Having all the features of this shock absorber, you no longer have to look for anything else than the Bilstein shock absorber.
