Bilstein 5150 Shock

The Bilstein 5150 Shocks feature monotube designs that will eliminate aeration and fade, thus giving your drive a consistent and even valving. The first production monotube high gas pressure features the fixed cross flow reservoir shock absorber that is specifically designed for lifted and custom applications. The product boasts of adjustable shock mounts that allow unlimited reservoir positioning. It also has an advanced design split valving and a huge 46mm working piston. Added to that, it features a maintenance-free design and the shock's valving could either be for single or multiple shock applications. Every 5150 series shocks of the brand comes in platinum powder coat finish. The shock comes with a loop at each end and is pre-installed. And if ever the need for a different type mount in one of the shocks arises, Biltein also manufactures three adaptors. One of the adaptors is for the threaded end. The other is a crossbar mounting and has two bolt holes which are spaced three inches apart, center to center. The third adaptor is for a crossbar mounting that you press in if you need to add a crossbar at one end of the shock. This adaptor has two bolt holes which are spaced 2? inches center to center apart. Do take note that each shock from the brand has 5/8 hourglass bushings at each end. All the shocks have an attached reservoir and a shaft diameter of 14mm. Always make sure that you check the shocks if they are dimensionally correct since there exist some variances in the shocks, different modifications for every application.
