It includes a stator design and internal clearances that is engineered to be able to match the torque converter stall speed onto the torque curve of the turbo diesel engine by application. Therefore, less fluid heating, better acceleration, and more importantly power to your drive wheels during operation prior to torque converter clutch lock up.
