Autometer Oil Pressure Gauge
As with the other performance gauges of the Autometer brand, the oil pressure gauge also comes in different variations, styles, and series for different applications. A few of these series are the designer black series, the lunar series, the cobalt series, and many others. The Autometer Oil Pressure Gauge is lighted in a number of ways, in seven color or tint LED illumination. The performance drivers or the street drivers out there can choose from among these colors: blue, white, red, green, orange, yellow, or purple. Actually, most of the Autometer performance gauges carry these choices of colors for the LED illumination for easy reading and for styling purposes. What the oil pressure gauge does is to give the driver accurate data with regards to the vehicle's oil pressure. The Autometer gauge included in the designer black series features a clear domed lens, modern graphics, and a race style pointer with a black chrome bezel. Also included in the series are red and green-colored light bulb covers for a custom night driving look. The lunar series of the brand, on the other hand, will give you luminescence in revolutions per minute. This particular series of competition instruments features a bright white dial face, black numbering and its increments, and a silver bezel. And when this product is then lit for use during night driving, the gauge will emit a futuristic green glow that is provided by a thin layer of phosphor exposed to a mild electrical charge. This series of oil pressure gauge is available in mechanical, electric, and full sweep electric versions. The lighting of this product is wired through the original equipment manufacturer switch and the light intensity is then controlled in the same way as the stock dash lighting.
