Agricover Tonneau Cover refers to the aftermarket, water proof synthetic polymer fabric or solid plastic that serves as cover or lid for the truck bed of a pickup truck. Basically, there are at least five types of tonneau cover. These types include the soft rollup cover, the folding cover, the retractable cover, the hard cover, and the tool box cover. The soft rollup cover is made from polymer water proof fabric that has a texture that is very similar to leather. This is the most affordable type of Agricover Tonneau Cover. This cover type is also the easiest to install. Typically, there is no need for special mounting hardware to successfully install this type of cover. As the name suggests, this type of cover can simply be rolled-up to have access to the truck bed. Generally speaking, most truck beds are equipped with the basic attachment structures for the installation of the rollup cover. The truck bed has built-in hooks, frames and holes. These built-in features serve as attachment structures and support for the soft rollup cover. The folding cover is much sophisticated than the soft rollup cover. Nonetheless, this type of cover still utilizes the same basic soft fabric, leather-like material. However, this second type has frames that allow it to be more rigid than the rollup cover. The retractable type of cover is the most technologically sophisticated of all types of covers. As the name suggests, this type of cover can be retracted or extended. It typically has a special frame that holds the cover. The main cover itself is constructed out of flexible plastic plates that can be rolled around a specially built drum. The hard cover is the type of cover that has hinges. Finally, the toolbox cover is the cover that is especially designed for the toolbox that is found on the truck bed.
